Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the primary modality of traditional Chinese medicine. It treats a wide range of health conditions and is practiced by inserting very thin, pre-packaged and sterilized disposable needles into specific points on the body. It is safe, effective, and a drug-free option for many non-emergency conditions.

Acupuncture stimulates your body’s own healing mechanisms—stimulating blood flow, tissue repair, and helping to release natural pain killers.

Cupping relieves pain and muscle soreness through suction. This happens because the skin layer gets pulled into the cup, pulling on the fascia that connects the skin to the muscle below.

Cupping

Cupping relieves pain and muscle soreness through suction. This happens because the skin layer gets pulled into the cup, pulling on the fascia that connects the skin to the muscle below. Think of it as the opposite of a massage which pushes down on the muscle. Instead cupping creates the space for more free movement.

Moxabustion, commonly referred to as moxa, is a way of adding heat or energy to an acupuncture point.

Moxabustion

Moxabustion, commonly referred to as moxa, is a way of adding heat or energy to an acupuncture point. Moxa uses the plant mugwort refined into a sponge-like consistency.  Moxa can be rolled into a stick and waved above the acupuncture point, rolled into a ball and placed on the end of an acupuncture needle or rolled into a small piece resembling a rice grain and placed directly on the skin.

Types of Massage

Myofascial Release Massage

The body holds its story in the fascia.

Fascia is the web of connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, organ, and structure in the body. When it becomes restricted — through injury, repetitive movement, stress, or surgery — it can create tension, pain, and limited range of motion that traditional massage alone may not fully address.

Myofascial release uses slow, sustained pressure and gentle stretching to soften these restrictions and restore ease to the whole system. Because fascia is one continuous web, releasing one area can create shifts felt throughout the body. Clients often describe a sense of lengthening, openness, and relief they haven't felt in years.

Oncology Massage

You deserve care that meets you exactly where you are.

Oncology massage is a specialized, thoughtful approach to massage therapy for people who are currently in cancer treatment or in recovery. Standard massage techniques are carefully adapted — in pressure, positioning, and intention — to work safely with the changes that cancer and its treatments bring to the body.

This is deeply gentle, deeply supportive work. It can help ease fatigue, reduce anxiety, relieve treatment-related discomfort, and offer something that is sometimes hard to find on a difficult health journey: a space where you can simply receive care.

All oncology massage sessions begin with a thorough conversation about your current treatment, health history, and what you most need in that moment.

Swedish Massage

Sometimes the most profound healing begins with permission to simply rest.

Swedish massage is the foundation of relaxation-based bodywork. Using long, flowing strokes, gentle kneading, and rhythmic movement, this style works with the nervous system to guide the body out of its stress response and into a state of deep calm. As tension melts from the muscles, circulation improves, the breath deepens, and the body remembers what it feels like to feel good.

Swedish massage is a wonderful place to start if you are new to massage, recovering from a stressful season, or simply need an hour to come back to yourself.

Trigger Point
Massage

Pain is the body's way of asking to be heard.

Trigger point therapy addresses those stubborn, concentrated knots of muscle tension — tight spots that not only ache locally but can refer pain to seemingly unrelated areas of the body. By applying focused, sustained pressure directly to these points, trigger point work encourages the muscle to release, restoring length, easing discomfort, and improving the way you move through your day.

This is particularly helpful for chronic muscle pain, tension headaches, neck and shoulder tightness, and pain that keeps coming back no matter what you try.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Supporting the body's innate wisdom to heal and restore.

The lymphatic system is one of the body's most essential — and often overlooked — systems of health. It clears waste, supports immune function, and keeps fluid balanced throughout the body. When the lymphatic flow becomes sluggish or compromised — whether from surgery, illness, injury, or inflammation — the body can feel heavy, swollen, or stuck.

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) uses very light, rhythmic strokes that follow the pathways of the lymphatic system, gently encouraging fluid to move toward the lymph nodes where it can be processed and cleared. The result is often a noticeable reduction in swelling, a quieting of the immune response, and a deep sense of calm throughout the entire body.

MLD is commonly used following surgery (including mastectomy and other cancer-related procedures), for lymphedema management, and for immune support during illness or recovery.
